Your music. Your choice.

In Tune is a development build by Michael Martinez. It now uses real accounts and contains no sample people or listening records.

Your account and social data

Supabase processes account email, authentication credentials, profile names and usernames, discovery preferences, friend requests, group records, memberships, blocks and reports to provide the account and social features. The project’s database is hosted in Oregon, United States. Supabase manages password authentication; passwords are not saved in the app or logged by In Tune. Session tokens are stored in this device’s Keychain.

Your profile is not discoverable by default. Enabling discovery lets signed-in users find your name and username. Sending a friend request shares your profile name and username with its recipient; accepted friends can see this profile information. Groups are private by default. A discoverable group’s name and description can be seen by signed-in users. Group membership does not upload or share Spotify listening data.

You can edit your profile, disable discovery, remove a friend or request, leave joined groups, block an account, and sign out. Cloud account and social records remain after sign-out. Self-service account deletion and public support channels are still being completed before public release. Do not use this development build as a public production service.

Spotify

Connecting Spotify requests access to your ranked top artists. Spotify handles your password; In Tune never receives it. Access and refresh tokens stay in this device’s Keychain. Artist results stay in app memory and are not uploaded to Supabase, used for AI training, advertising, or live taste comparisons.

Disconnect Spotify in In Tune to delete locally stored connection tokens and clear artist results. You can also remove In Tune’s access in Spotify’s Apps settings. Signing out of In Tune disconnects Spotify on this device.
